Amazing news, really. In 2035, the Intergalactic Council of Cool Healthcare Systems actually elected the United States to membership! Many delegates from far-off planets were shocked. In 2018, they said, the United States had a healthcare delivery system that was inequitable, inefficient, failed to make its consumer the boss, failed to address social determinants of health, and had surveys in which half its clinicians were ready to do something else. How did that list of problems get turned around by 2035?
