Technical.ly Philly’s Mo Manklang recently attended Dr. Klasko’s Greater Philadelphia Leadership Exchange presentation, outlining her four key takeaways:
- JeffConnect, the new addition to Jefferson’s Telemedicine program. The JeffConnect app will allow patients and families to video chat with their doctors for follow-up or non-emergency visits. This will help to eliminate travel, allow doctors to work with patients more efficiently, save time and money as well as creating a better experience for the patient.
- Health is All We Do. “This includes not just high test scores among Jefferson students,” says Manklang. “But also emotional ability evaluation — they want their doctors to have the best bedside manner around.”
- “Design Thinking” through a partnership with Princeton University’s design and engineering students.
- Capitalizing on the moment. Manklang noted that Dr. Klasko’s first book,The Phantom Stethoscope was recommended to Harry Potter fans on Amazon’s “You might like this if you also like…” section.
